Chloraka is really a village of two halves – a quaint village elevated to around 100 meters above the sea and the picturesque coastal area. Within the traditional village center you will find many Cypriot coffee shops with elderly gentlemen drinking their metrios and playing backgammon. All the major banks have representation in the village while shopping for food in covered by a local Papantoniou supermarket and a couple of stores specializing in imported British foods.
