Cyprus Resales estate agents are very happy to announce the recent success of Emba Badminton Club children competing in the master’s tournament in Nicosia.

On the 23rd of February Max Law 11 y.o. reached the final of the U/13 Master Series championship. Max put a magnificent performance beating the No.1 seed in the semi-final, but unfortunately, he lost the final 21/19, 21/18. Max still gained the silver medal.

On the 9th of March Amelia Georgiou 9 y.o. competed in the U/11 Master Series championship, where after defeating 6 other girls she had successfully reached the final. Having lost the first set 21/15 Amelia showed rare bravery and determination and managed to win the next two sets 21/9 and 21/14 that secured her a gold medal. She is now ranked the number one player in Cyprus at her age group.

Great results have been achieved thanks to professionalism and dedication of the children’s coach Don Griffin. Today the club provides excellent FREE tutoring to children with the club members giving their precious time to the young players.
