RCB Bank, formerly Russian Commercial Bank, to open a Paphos branch.

Date: 07/01/17

Limassol based RCB Bank is to open a branch in Paphos.

The bank that is partly owned by Russia’s second biggest bank VTB, has been operating on the island under a banking license from the Central Bank of Cyprus since 1995. Originally created to service Russia’s cross-border transactions, RCB later focused on providing wealth and asset management service and as well as started offering a wide range of investment solutions. Due to effective risk management and high liquidity level RCB had successfully lived through 2013 crisis and was one of the first few banks to resume unrestricted operations in May 2013. Today the bank offers first-class service, including Visa debit and credit card facilities with contactless payment options, online banking and, of course, lending solutions.

Recent expansion drive with more branches in Limassol and Nicosia is now focused on Paphos. This year RCB is extending its presence to the western part of Cyprus, where it previously had no representation, to make it a truly islandwide bank. Located on the busy Griva Digeni Ave, close to CYTA offices, the new branch will give businesses and individuals more options when choosing a bank in Paphos. Overall excellent news for Paphos - RCB Bank, awarded “The Best Bank in Cyprus 2015”, is to provide much needed reliable financial services.
