The pretty area of St. George borders the Akamas peninsula - the last great wilderness in Cyprus, absolutely unspoiled. Every morning the small working harbor of St.George is full of colorful pretty little fishing boats. On weekends and for special occasions the harbour is also used by the Paphos sailing club. Just above the harbor, on the impressive cliff edge is the church dedicated to St. George, which is well worth a visit. Next door to the church one can find an excellent sea food restaurant with splendid sea views. St George is also home to the TLC learning Center teaching from kindergarten to IGCSEs.

An area of low density building St George is home to mainly large detached villas.
